Lafamille presents Hotdrop's brand new release, 'It's a remix ting'.
The spanish reggae band strikes back with this original project that has been created thanks to the collaboration of different international artists.
For the occasion, Hotdrop hits us with refreshing versions of some of the tracks included in their first record 'Ready', made by the inspired hands of several producers.
'It's a remix ting' is still scented with jamaican rythms, but also oozes cutting edge sounds such as hip hop or dubstep, surprising and refreshing the spanish reggae scene. This work, purists abstain, is sealed with the style and personality of the following emergent artists from all over the world: Process Rebel (USA), Deeproots & Bean (Romania), Jambassa (Italy), Volfoniq (France), Cut la vis (UK) y Ojah (Spain). The tracks are genuine revisions of the original songs, pure reminiscences of what we first heard in 'Ready', stating the creative turmoil in which jamaican music is evolving currently.
A unique and adventurous trip across a whole heap of possibilities that will delight the lovers of musical challenges.

Lafamille music presenta el nuevo trabajo de Hotdrop 'It's a remix ting', con el que los madrileños vuelven a la carga en un original proyecto que ha visto la luz gracias a la participación de diversos artistas internacionales.
En esta ocasión, Hotdrop nos ofrece una vuelta de tuerca a algunos temas de su primer disco 'Ready', poniéndose en manos de varios genios de la remezcla, los cuales nos ofrecen su personal visión de los cortes orginales.
'It's a remix ting' no pierde el aroma de los ritmos jamaicanos pero se empapa de los sonidos más actuales como el hip hop o el dubstep, sorprendiendo y refrescando una vez más, el panorama del reggae español. En este trabajo, no apto para puristas, han dejado su sello inconfundible, grandes artistas emergentes como Process Rebel (USA), Deeproots & Bean (Rumanía), Jambassa (Italia), Volfoniq (Francia), Cut la vis (UK) y Ojah (España). Con estilo y personalidad propios, los cortes que componen este trabajo son genuinas revisiones que poco tienen que ver con los sonidos de los que proceden, constatando el auténtico estado de ebullición y evolución en el que se encuentra actualmente la música de raíz jamaicana.
Un auténtico viaje por el mundo de las posibilidades de la creatividad que hará las delicias de los amantes de los desafíos musicales.
