En Guadalajara llevábamos dos años de sequía, pero ahora volvemos con más fuerza que nunca, y la tormenta que llega es muy seria. Después de haber empezado a mover la escena ibérica de sound systems, con los Spanish Dub Meetings de los años 2006, 2007 y 2008, desde Rootikaly Movement tenemos el orgullo de presentaros Dub Club Guadalajara.
Dub Club es un antiguo concepto de fiesta que actualmente está ganando multitud de adeptos por toda Europa (Dub Station, DubQuake, Dub School, University of Dub, Nations In Dub, Dubmeetings, Dub Clubs, Teachings in Dub...), y que por fin en nuestra ciudad vemos ocasión de realizar con regularidad. Un potente equipo de sonido, presidiendo la fiesta y la pista de baile. Preparado con detalle para poder transmitir toda la vibración positiva del roots reggae y el dub. Desde las raíces de la música jamaicana, hasta los dubs más digitales del año 3000. Si nunca has acudido a un auténtico sound system de reggae, ésta es tu ocasión. Y si ya lo has vivido, seguro quieres repetirlo.
Para esta primera ocasión tendremos el equipo de sonido autoconstruido de WATTS ATTACK Sound Force, que se presenta por primera vez en la Sala Óxido desde Bilbao. Con una selección finísima y muy cuidada del mejor roots reggae, y un equipo de sonido que nunca antes habías podido sentir. Mientras que el plato fuerte de la noche serán ROOTS GARDEN desde Brighton en Inglaterra. Son desde 1995 la sesión de club semanal más longeva de la escena de reggae británico y unos de los sound systems y sellos discográficos con más nombre y más respetados de toda la escena. Tenemos el orgullo de contar con A-Lone Productions y Roots In Madrid en la producción del evento. Y también colaboramos con Asociación Abisinios Para La Cooperación, una asociación madrileña que vela por los niños con problemas en Etiopía, cuyo principal proyecto actualmente es la construcción de una escuela-taller en Bahar-Dar, donde irán destinados los beneficios del evento.

In Guadalajara (50 km. far from Madrid) we were two years of drought, but now we are back stronger than ever, and the storm clouds coming are too serious. After starting to move the Iberic scene of sound systems, with the Spanish Dub Meetings of the years 2006, 2007 and 2008, from Rootikaly Movement we are proud to present Dub Club Guadalajara.
Dub Club is a former party concept that is gaining many supporters across Europe (Dub Station, DubQuake, Dub School, University of Dub, Nations In Dub, Dubmeetings, Dub Clubs, Teachings in Dub ...), and finally in our city we see the chance to perform regularly. A powerful sound system, presiding over the night and the dancehall. Prepared in detail to convey all the positive vibes of roots reggae and dub. From the roots of Jamaican music, till the most digital dubs of the year 3000. If you've never been to an authentic reggae sound system, this is your night. And if you've lived, sure want to repeat.
For the first time we have the self-built sound system of WATTS ATTACK Sound Force, presented for the first time in the Oxido concert hall from Bilbao, the Basque Country. With a fine and very careful selection of the best roots reggae, and a sound which you never felt. While the highlight of the evening will be ROOTS GARDEN from Brighton in England. Are from 1995, the longest club session running weekly on the British reggae scene, and some of the sound systems and labels most respected throughout the scene. We are proud to have A-Lone Productions and Roots In Madrid Crew helping us on producing the event. And we also work with Abyssinian Association for Cooperation, an association of Madrid who looks after children with problems in Ethiopia, whose main current project is the construction of a vocational college in Bahar-Dar, where the benefits of the event will go. Greetings Rootikaly!!...un evento autentico. De autentico reggae, roots y dub...pura vibración en el ambiente y un sentimiento de hermandad y humildad autentico entre la gente y los sounds y selectores.
Y además con un punto solidario en el apoyo de una causa como es la de la Asociacion Abbisinos.
Creo que es una gran combinacion con la que conseguir remarcar esa parte "conscious" del reggae, de la escena Sound System...de la cultura reggae...del simple hecho de ser persona, de ser humilde y consecuente. Y al mismo tiempo dar visibilidad a los problemas que existen y se desconocen. Siempre hay que ayudar...
