This track is included in the new Viceroys´ album named Memories, that will be released the next 2nd of May 2016 (LP/CD/Download - check www.iroko-records.com).
Iroko Records is pleased to announce THE VICEROYS - MEMORIES, the Iroko Showcase Vol.2. This new musical project is the result of the collaboration between The Viceroys, Roberto Sánchez´s Lone Ark and Iroko Records. The album represents the return of the classic vocal group to the scene, bringing back their unique and rootikal style in both lyrical and musical sense; like in the previous Iroko Showcase Vol.1 with Noel Ellis, here we find the quality roots sound of Roberto Sánchez and the exquisite edition and pressing directed by Herve Brizec of Iroko Records, which makes the back of The Viceroys even more interesting. To complete this solid release Iroko Records counted on John Masouri for the liner notes, which finally pay tribute to one of the best vocal groups in reggae history explaining their long and interesting career from Studio One to this new album.
The riddims were composed, recorded and mixed specially for Viceroys in Spain at A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio by Roberto Sánchez. The vocals were recorded in Jamaica at Small World Studio by Gaylard Bravo. The pictures were taken in Paris by Franck Blanquin and the artwork/video were made by Cholo, Iroko´s inhouse designer.
Stay tuned!
